To centralize and standardize its different HR systems and improve its processes, Vietnam’s leading beer producer Sabeco selected Cadena HRM Series 5 as its new human resource management system at the end of 2019. Sabeco was still managing human resources and payroll of a 10,000 staff headcount across 23 legal entities in a mix of Excel spreadsheets and local systems. Maintenance costs were high. Processes were cumbersome and riddled with heavy paperwork.
Why we were selected? Besides higher quality standards both in implementation and customer support services (compared to local vendors), Cadena’s latest cloud product has been developed based on 15+ years of experience in deploying HR and payroll systems for a wide range of different industries and across multiple countries in Southeast Asia. This resulted in a highly flexible product in terms of company policy configuration. Policies can be configured on company group level and on individual entity which is ideal when dealing with different types of operations like Sabeco.
Cadena is now implementing a company-wide time attendance and payroll solution – first piloting the program in Sabeco’s corporate head office, then rolling it out for 10 trading companies – followed by implementing it across 11 breweries. This complex transformation will be executed this year, converting all employee records from multiple sources to a single HR system. This will form a strong foundation for phase 2 of the project in which Cadena’s strategic HR modules will be deployed.
